The Prime Minister's Kisan Sanman Nidhi is an important scheme of the Government of India. Provides financial assistance to small and marginal farmers who have less than 2 hectares (9.9 acres) of land.
Under this scheme, all the farmers are getting minimum income support of Rs. 6,000 per annum. Implemented from December 1, 2018, the scheme is proving to be a boon for farmers.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sanman Nidhi Yojana, each eligible farmer is paid an install 6,000 per year and the amount is deposited directly into their bank account. In which 2 thousand rupees are given to the farmer every 4 months.
The scheme was launched in the 2018 Ravi season. At that time, the government had made an advance budget provision of Rs 20,000 crore for this. While the annual expenditure on the scheme was estimated at Rs 75,000 crore.
But due to the large number of farmers in the country and the interest of farmers in the scheme, the annual expenditure has increased.
This scheme has proved to be very useful for small farmers. Farmers who are facing cash crunch before sowing are getting availability of seeds, fertilizers and other tools from this cash.
Most of these are marginal small farmers, who find it difficult to feed through farming. But after the arrival of this scheme the farmer is happy to take advantage of it.
The benefit of this scheme is to be given to the farmers having less than two hectares of cultivated land. State Governments provide bank accounts and other details of such farmers to the Central Government. Once confirmed, the central government deposits the money directly into the bank accounts of such farmers. The role of digital system is proving to be important in the success of the scheme.

How to apply for PM Kisan Yojana from Common Service Center (CSC)
To apply for Kisan Yojana, you have to visit your nearest CSC center.
There you have to take your Aadhaar card, bank passbook and land documents.
Give all the documents to the CSC operator and ask to apply in Kisan Yojana.
After paying the application fee, your registration and application will be done.
The application process is online so it doesn't take much time. Your application process will be completed in just 5 to 10 minutes.

Updation of Self Registered Farmer
After this you have to submit your Aadhaar number.
After submitting the Aadhaar number, the application form of Kisan Yojana will open.
Carefully fill in the required information in the application form and submit the form

This will complete your application
After the application, your application will be sent to your block for verification. After verifying the block, your application will be sent to the District Welfare Department. The State Government will then verify it and finally your application will be sent to the Central Government for verification online verification.
Status of Self Registered/CSC Farmers
After getting the approval of the central government, the amount will start getting in your account.
